Union City, Tenn.—An 18-year-old Tiptonville woman was attacked Sunday night in Union City and police are seeking the five females who attacked her.
Union City Police were dispatched to E. Church St. around 9 p.m. Sunday on a report that someone was being assaulted. The victim had blood coming from her nose and said she was attacked on E. Main Street behind the Union City Housing Authority office.
She said she was riding in a car with someone from Trenton and had parked behind the Housing Authority to talk to someone she knew when five females approached and began to attack her.
She said one female was black, one mixed race and she wasn’t sure about the other three except that one of the girls goes by the name Ah-Ah. The victim began knocking on doors to get some help.
Officers said the victim’s right eye lid was swollen and she had blood coming from her nose and was shaking and unsteady on her feet. She said she blacked out during the attack. She was checked out by EMS at the scene.
