Henry Co. Clerk Donna Craig Has Reminders For Business Owners

Paris, Tenn.–Henry County Clerk Donna Craig has an announcement for business owners: In order to file and pay your business taxes in Tennessee electronically, you must use the TNTAP system. Business taxes are due in April.
The TNTAP business tax filing began in May 2018. If you filed previously in the old electronic filing system, you cannot automatically use your old username and password in TNTAP.
The website for TNTAP is https://tntap.tn.gov/eservices.  If you have an existing TNTAP logon, you can use your username and password and sign into TNTAP. If you need to get access to TNTAP you can click on “Create a TNTAP Logon” in the upper left portion of the TNTAP main page.
The Department of Revenue has converted your business tax account to their new online tax system, Craig said. A letter was sent out to notify you of this change and to give you information of your new account number.
You will use this new account ID when submitting documents to the Department of Revenue. Your old account number is still valid for gaining access to TNTAP, but the new account ID should be used moving forward.
The Department of Revenue and the Henry County Clerk’s Office are glad to help you in any way possible. When you call please have the following information ready:

  • Taxpayer’s account number
  • Location ID
  • SSN or FEIN

The Department of Revenue general tax information line is 1-800-342-1003 or call the Henry County Clerk’s office at 731-642-2412.
