Paris, Tenn.—After a day-long search, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and K9s located a missing autistic juvenile who had wandered off from his home early this morning.
The juvenile was last seen by his mother at 6 a.m. Thursday morning and during the search, deputies found a trail cam that had recorded the boy around 7:32 a.m. The boy was missing in the area of Old Paris-Murray Rd.
Henry County Sheriff Sgt. Wayne Fuqua and his K9 Adora tracked on the ground while Tennessee Highway Patrol Sgt. Lee Russell flew the THP helicopter over the area he was thought to be, according to Captain Adam Jenkins.
Sgt. Russell spotted the child around 3:45 p.m. and directed sheriff’s units to his location.
