Buchanan, Tenn.–Wind down the year in nature with a New Year’s Eve Sunset Hike at Paris Landing State Park.
Come out for a 1.5 mile hike with Seasonal Interpretive Ranger Amy O’Brien. You will hike through the sunset, and as darkness falls, we’ll see what wildlife is out on New Year’s Eve. At the end of the hike, we’ll sit down around a bonfire for s’mores and hot cider.
The hike is from 4-6 p.m. and everyone is to meet at the Don Ridgeway Conference Center parking lot. Price is $4.
Be sure to dress warmly, bring a flashlight, and wear appropriate footwear. This is a family-friendly event. Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
