Paris, Tenn.—A huge crowd of parents and students showed out for today’s Back To School Blast sponsored by the Family Resources Center at the Central Services Building in Paris. Free school supplies, including backpacks, were handed out and a large number of organizations from all over the region were on hand with giveaways: LeBonheur Children’s Hospital gave out free bikes and helmets; St. Thomas Health gave out Titans gear and displayed a jersey worn by Mariota, along with a Titans’ jersey; the Henry County Sheriff’s Office handed out free smoke detectors and the Henry County Prevention Coalition handed out free lock boxes. Others on hand with giveaways included the W.G. Rhea Library, East Wood Church of Christ, BPU, Henry County Medical Center, Henry County EMS, Paris Fire Department and many more.
