Police Dispatcher Speaks To Paris Quota

Paris, Tenn.–Paris Police Dispatcher Katie Braham spoke about her duties at the police department during a presentation to the Paris Quota Club.
Braham said the dispatch center is able to take five emergency calls at one time.  The 911 center has a walk up window, in addition to the phones and radio.  They monitor the police, fire, ambulance, utilities, etc, but do not monitor the sheriff’s department.  The Paris Police Non-Emergency phone number is 642-2424.
DeLaina Green reported that the Outreach Center served the Thanksgiving lunch provided by Quotarians on the Monday prior to Thanksgiving.
Jill Snow announced that the Membership Committee is planning an event for the early party of 2019 and suggested that each member provide 5 names of prospective members, to her, either by e-mail or at the Christmas Party.
Kathryn Moore announced that pecan sales are going good.  Pecan halves, pieces and specialty pecans are available from any Quotarian.  Pecan halves and pieces are $12 and specialty pecans are $10.
Martha McFadden reminded everyone of the Christmas Party at 6pm on December 13th, at Lee Academy Lunchroom.  There will be an Angel Tree to supply Christmas for an older teen who is no longer eligible for the Salvation Army Christmas.
Elizabeth Craig announced that there are 19 Kroger cards being used.  The club receives proceeds each time the card is used.
