Union City, Tenn.—A Union City driver was transported to the hospital and another driver was cited following a two-car accident around 9 a.m. Friday on W. Reelfoot Ave.
Jorge Cardena, age 62, was cited for lack of due care following the accident.
According to the report, Cardena was traveling in the 900 block of W. Reelfoot, heading east in the inside lane, while a car driven by Cheryl Jones, age 53, was traveling in the outside lane. Cardena crossed the dotted line, causing the collision.
Jones was transported to the Baptist Memorial Hospital by the ambulance.
