Cookeville, Tenn.–It was a heart-breaking loss for the Henry Co. Patriots, which came up short 14-9 to Knoxville Central at the State 5A High School Football championship Sunday afternoon.
It was a tough weekend for the team and the fans, marked by a lengthy weather delay amid a torrential rainfall Saturday night. The game was delayed until Sunday afternoon, meaning many plans had to be changed for the players, the band and cheerleaders and the fans.
