MARTIN, Tenn. – The annual City of Martin and Kiwanis Christmas Parade will begin at 7 p.m., Dec. 3, in the University of Tennessee at Martin’s Graham Stadium parking lot and the registration deadline is coming up this week. Floats that are being judged should arrive no later than 5:30 p.m., and parade line-up will begin at 6. The parade will proceed down University Street before turning left on Lindell Street and continuing through the downtown area.
The theme for this year’s parade is “Winter Nights, Christmas Lights.” The entry fee is $5 per float, and floats must be registered before Nov. 30 to participate. The parade is co-sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Martin, the city of Martin and UT Martin.
