Hastings Chosen As Veterans' Parade Grand Marshal; Entries Still Accepted

Paris, Tenn.–World War II Veteran Glen Theron Hastings of Mansfield has been chosen as the Grand Marshal of the Henry Co. Veterans’ Day parade, which will be held Saturday morning.
The parade will begin at 11 a.m. and will move from Fairgrounds Road down Wood Street.
The Henry County High School Marching Patriots will again play patriotic music in the parade and several entries are already lined up. Veterans Office Director Bob Nolan said entries are still being accepted and will continue to be accepted until the morning of the parade.
Hastings is a highly decorated veteran of World War II and was a Staff Sgt. in the 99th Intinerary Headquarters of the 372nd Field Artillery Batallion of the U.S. Army. He served from 1942-1946.
