Dresden, Tenn.-A 20-year-old Dresden man was arrested on DUI and other charges after he allegedly crashed his SUV into a home near Greenfield around 3 a.m. today.
Eric McCartney was charged with the Tennessee Highway Patrol with DUI, two counts of reckless endangerment, violation of the drinking age law and burglary.
Troopers said McCartney crashed into a home on Hwy. 54 near Greenfield. McCartney reportedly hit another vehicle first, then crashed into the house. After the crash, McCartney also reportedly went into the house he had crashed into and got a drink of water.
McCartney posted $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court August 25.
