Paris, Tenn.-There will be a lot of happy puppies in Henry County after the donation of hundreds of free puppy kits by the Mineral Wells Animal Clinic to both the Henry County Sheriff’s Animal Shelter and the City of Paris Animal Shelter.
Making the presentation this morning was Dr. Chuck Lyons and Dr. Samantha Edwards of the Mineral Wells Clinic to Sheriff Monte Belew and his K9 Si, Sheriff’s Shelter Supervisor John McElroy and City Animal Control Officer Mark Mead.
Dr. Lyons said 360 free puppy kits were being donated to each shelter. The kids contain free heartworm and flea and tick doses.
Mead said, “This will be especially handy when we have people who bring entire litters of eight or nine puppies at one time to the shelter.”
Belew, McElroy and Mead thanked the clinic for the donations.
