Weakley County, Tenn.–The Weakley County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) is investigating after a woman’s body was found.
Captain Randall McGowan said the sheriff’s office received a report that Dallas Chantel Bennett, age 43, was missing from the area between Sharon and Sidonia. Bennett is from the Sharon area.
On Monday, investigators found her body in a field along Mt. Vernon Road, according to the TBI. The field is about three miles from her home.
Ongoing investigative efforts have determined Bennett was last seen alive, walking along Mount Vernon Road, at approximately 10:00 AM on October 1st.
