Cpl. Jim Sanders, Other Drone Operators At Manhunt Scene Tonight

Stewart County, Tenn.—Henry County Sheriff’s Corporal James Sanders will be utilizing the department’s drone overnight tonight in the continuing manhunt for accused murderer and arsonist Kirby Wallace.
 
Cpl. Sanders will be working with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office drone operators, along with helicopters from the National Guard and Tennessee Highway Patrol.
 
Henry County Sheriff Monte Belew has been working at the scene of the manhunt since yesterday along with local deputies and K9s. Belew said that today, Deputy Stacey Bostwick and his K9 Rowdy joined with Sgt. Wayne Fuqua, his K9 Cisco and Deputy Terry Williams and his K9 Droid.
 
Belew told WENK/WTPR Tuesday night that he and eight deputies will be returning to the scene of the manhunt tomorrow. “We’ve been exhausting every effort to find this guy before he hurts someone else,” Belew said.
 
In a press conference this afternoon, the sheriffs of Stewart and Montgomery County and the heads of the TBI and the THP reported on the progress of the manhunt, which has gone on since late last week when Wallace was named the suspect.
 
Wallace is wanted for first degree murder, felony murder, aggravated arson, especially aggravated kidnapping, especially aggravated robbery, especially aggravated burglary, and theft of property.
He is accused of killing at two people and injuring two more during violent home invasions in the Indian Mound area.
The TBI has added him to its Top 10 Most Wanted list.
Wallace is armed and dangerous and anyone who spots him should not approach him but call 911 immediately.
Working along side the Stewart Co. deputies are the FBI, TBI, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Tennessee Highway Patrol, TWRA and Henry County Sheriffs Office.
