Six Arrested In String Of Calloway County Burglaries

 
 
Murray, Ky.–A joint investigation between the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office, The Murray Police Department and the Graves County Sheriff’s Office has led to the arrest of multiple suspects in a burglary and theft ring. Four of the suspects are adults, with three from Murray, and two of the suspects are juveniles, addresses not released.
 
 
Calloway County Sheriff Sam Steger said law enforcement has been investigating a string of local church and local business burglaries for a few weeks in Murray, Calloway County and Graves County that are believed to be connected.
 
Surveillance video released led to the identity of suspects over the weekend. Police located a suspect vehicle in Murray, which led to the interviewing of several suspects. Tuesday police executed two search warrants recovering some of the stolen property. Police have arrested six individuals including 2 juveniles. The investigation is still ongoing and more arrests are pending.

Zachary Lewis of Murray- 5 counts of Burglary 3rd Degree, 5 counts Criminal Mischief 3rd, 1 count of Engaging in Organized Crime, 1 count of Complicity to Burglary 3rd Degree, 1 count of Complicity to Criminal Mischief 3rd degree,
 
Evan Hopkins of Murray-8 counts of Burglary 3rd Degree, 6 counts Criminal Mischief 3rd, 1 count of Engaging in Organized Crime
 
Stephen Clement of Houston, Texas- Burglary 3rd Degree
 
Virginia Mize of Murray- Receiving Stolen Property O/500, Assault 3rd Degree,  2 Counts of Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct
 
One juvenile- Receiving Stolen Property O/500, Engaging in Organized Crime
 
One juvenile- 5 counts of Burglary 3rd Degree, 5 counts Criminal Mischief 3rd, 1 count of Engaging in Organized Crime, 1 count Complicity to Burglary 3rd, 1 count Complicity to Criminal Mischief 3rd
