Pedestrian Killed On Highway Near Henry Co. Airport

Cottage Grove, Tenn.—A pedestrian was killed late last night while walking on State Hwy. 69 near the Henry County Airport.
Tennessee Highway Patrol Lt. Brad Wilbanks this morning released the report on the accident.
Thomas E. Toler, age 31, of Paris, was killed in the accident which occurred around 10:35 p.m. Thursday night.
According to the report, Jessica Goodrum, age 26, of Cottage Grove, was traveling southbound on Hwy. 69 near Diggs Road and Toler was walking in the southbound lane of the highway when he was struck.
Goodrum was injured in the accident, but the extent of her injuries was not included in the report.
The accident was investigated by Trooper Josh Wade. Henry Co. Sheriff’s deputies also responded to the scene.
