Marshall County, Ky.—The Marshall County Rescue Squad was paged out on a call that had a happy ending last night.
Squad members were dispatched to a 48-foot cabin cruiser adrift below the dam and a male subject who was attempting to swim to the bank, but there was no further contact with him
Boats were deployed and a search was begun and updated information informed squad members that the incident was across the line into Lyon County on Lake Barkley.
The male subject was located and rescue boats towed the disabled boat to shore.
Agencies assisting were East Marshall Fire Department and their boat, Gilbertsville Fire Department, Calvert Police Department, Marshall County EMS, and Marshall County Dispatch.
