Troy, Tenn.—A home in Troy was destroyed by fire and thankfully no one was injured in the blaze.
The Troy Fire Department was on the scene, with mutual aid from the Obion and Hornbeak departments.
When firefighters arrived, heavy smoke was coming from the single-family dwelling.
Sherri Hanna, Executive Director of the Obion Co. Emergency Communications District, said the fire was on Campground Road, just outside of Troy. No one was home at the time of the fire.
Officials with the Troy Fire Department thanked everyone for their swift response. “Great teamwork by all agencies,” they said.
