NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has a new addition to its ‘Top Ten Most Wanted’ list: Gerald Eugene Dolberry of Paris, who is wanted in the shooting that occurred at Crestview Manor in Paris over the weekend.
Dolberry, age 21, is wanted by the Paris Police Department and TBI two face two counts of Criminal Attempt to Commit First Degree Murder. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
Dolberry is an African-American man, who stands 5’7” and weighs approximately 156 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information about Dolberry’s whereabouts should contact the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND. There is a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to his arrest.
Paris Police Captain Ricky Watson told WENK/WTPR that an arrest involving the case has been made of Victoria Overman of Paris. She is charged with filing a false report and being an accessory after the fact.
As we reported Saturday, the victim is a 43 year old male from West Memphis, Ark. He told officers he and his fiancé were in Paris for a wedding and were staying with friends at Crestview and were going to the apartment when they encountered a black male sitting on the steps along with two black females and a white female.
Watson said the victim told officers words were exchanged between he and the suspect, who then pulled out a gun and shot the victim.
The victim was shot at least four times and was taken to Henry County Medical Center for treatment.
