Danville, Tenn.—It’s Day 3 of the search for a Dickson man believed to have drowned in Kentucky Lake Sunday night.
Officials have identified the missing man as Randy Looney, age 49, of Dickson.
Multiple agencies, including the TWRA, have been searching for the man who fell overboard due to a boating accident near Danville Landing. The accident occurred near the Benton-Houston Co. border.
According to the TWRA, a 26-foot Rinker cabin boat was at Mile Marker 82 on Kentucky Lake when it struck an unknown underwater object. Three occupants fell into the water, but one did not resurface. None of the occupants were wearing personal flotation devices at the time.
Benton County Sheriff Kenny Christopher said the boat was leaving a resort when the accident occurred.
