Perryville, Tenn.—Both Decatur County Sheriff Keith Byrd and Perry County Sheriff Nick Weems have confirmed that the body of Katelyn Campbell has been recovered from the Tennessee River.
Campbell, age 19, fell from the Alvin C. York Bridge and into the Tennessee River at Perryville early Sunday morning.
Multiple agencies have been working around the clock on the search for the teen’s body since around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. The family has been keeping vigil at the scene. The family earlier provided the media with photos of the teen, who just turned 19 last Friday.
