At Paris Landing State Park, the Paris-Henry Co. Jaycees will once again put on the fireworks display which begins at dusk. There will be a lot of activities in the park through the day, including music, games, and food vendors around the amphitheater. A DJ from C&C Entertainment will be on hand, starting with music around 2 p.m. Seating and viewing areas are first come, first serve. The event is free and open to all ages.
From 2-3 p.m. at the park office, you can learn all about the animals that live in the park and watch their daily feeding. They have owls, hawks and three nonvenomous snakes.
