Tennessee FFA Stars Tour Tosh Farms

 
Henry, Tenn.—Jimmy Tosh of Tosh Farms gave the 2018 Tennessee FFA Stars a tour of the facility in Henry yesterday as part of the Fourth Annual Tennessee FFA Star Tour this week. Murray Perkins of Paris FFA is this year’s Star Farmer and he will be honored tonight by the Paris FFA at a reception at the Paris 5&10.
While at Tosh Farms, the FFA Stars were treated to a rib lunch.
This year’s other FFA Stars are: Star in Agribusiness, Ben Young, Coffee County; Star in Agricultural Placement, Dillion Givens, McMinn County; Star in Agriscience, Montana Wright, Stewarts Creek; and Star Greenhand, Maggie Dunivan, Lincoln County. Star recognition is awarded to the top students in five areas who best demonstrate superior Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) projects, a requirement for all FFA members.
Today will again be spent in West Tennessee as the Stars tour Tyson in Union City, share at a luncheon with Farm Credit Mid-America in Dresden.
