Murray, Ky.—A Cottage Grove man who took a car on a test drive in Murray and never took the car back is being held in the Henry County Jail on $50,000 bond.
Bradley Green, age 32, of Veazey Rd., is charged with theft by unlawful taking over $10,000, a Class C felony, in Kentucky. In Tennessee, he is charged with felony theft, possession of stolen property and being a fugitive from another state.
According to the press release from the Murray Police, officers responded to Dwain Taylor Chevrolet in reference to vehicle theft. The manager at Dwain Taylor said a male subject by the name of Bradley Green of Cottage Grove, had come to test drive a vehicle from the lot. At the end of the day, Green had not returned the vehicle.
The officers called OnStar Security which was able to provide the GPS location of the vehicle and it was learned it was in Paris.
An arrest warrant for Green was issued and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office was contacted. Deputies were able to locate the vehicle and take Green into custody.
