Paris, Tenn.—Henry County Commissioner and County Historian David Webb leads the group from this week’s Summer History Camp on a tour of the courthouse this morning. The camp is sponsored by the Paris-Henry County Heritage Center and is free to students grades 4-8. Students will learn hands-on about the history of downtown Paris, with Tuesday to include a downtown tour, Wednesday will learn about downtown churches, on Thursday, the historic city cemetery will be explored and Friday, the students will be at the Heritage Center all day. The camp was organized by Suzanne Richter and was the idea of Teacher Lucy Presson, who was on this morning’s tour. (Shannon McFarlin photo).
