Starks, Murphey Win Elks Legacy Awards

Paris, Tenn.–Two graduating seniors from Henry County High School have been announced as Legacy Award Winners 2018.  Tori Starks, daughter of Monte and Jennifer Starks, and Samuel Murphey, son of Michael and Susannah Murphey, have been awarded $4,000 scholarships.
Legacy Scholarships are awarded by the Elks National Foundation of The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.  Three hundred scholarships are awarded each year across the United States. This year there were only three awarded in Tennessee and two of those were from Paris.  To be eligible, the student must be a senior and be the child or grandchild (step-child or step grandchild) of a paid-up member of Elks.
Paris Elks Lodge 816 wishes to congratulate these outstanding students and to wish them much continued success as they pursue further education and careers.
