Henry, Tenn.– Henry Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched out to a report of a grass fire in the area of Camp Tyson Store on Hwy 79 S Sunday at 5:21 p.m.. Henry Firefighters responded with Brush 1, & Engine 2 and extinguished the fire.
Fire Department officials said, “This is the second fire within 5 minutes of each other between McKenzie & Henry. If you observe anyone that you think may be setting fire to the sides of the highway we encourage you to call the Sheriffs Office to report any details you have.”
Fire Chief Keith Qualls said one of the fires was just across the county line into Carroll County and the McKenzie Fire Department responded to that one.
