Making Way For The New Rhea School

Paris, Tenn.—Workers with the Hayes Construction Co. have begun demolishing the interior portions of the Rhea School Building in Paris while other contractors continue putting the finishing touches on the new sections of the newly-remodeled school building. The new portions—including a new front entrance and more classrooms—were built around the older sections. In top photo, David “Tater” Hayes is pointing to the work that will be performed today. In other photos, Mike Barnhill operates the mini-skid steer loader removing roofing materials into the truck operated by Randy Smith; and the new front entrance of the building. The project is on schedule and an open house and ribbon-cutting will be held at 5 p.m. July 18.
