Henry, Tenn.—Robin House has been selected to serve as the new Assistant Principal at Henry Elementary School.
House has been employed with the Henry County Schools since 2011 and has served as a teacher at Henry School, where she taught third grade and middle school English-Language Arts.
Principal David Kibbler said she also has served on numerous school committees and has held school leadership positions at Henry. She also has participated in state level committees and initiatives, with the most recent being the Tennessee Micro-Credential Pilot Program.
She holds a bachelor of arts degree in K-8 education from Western Governors University and a master of art in educational leadership from Bethel.
Kibbler said the position became available when Assistant Principal Michael Denman requested to return to the classroom beginning with the 2018-2019 school year.
Kibbler said House “has proven herself to be a dedicated and outstanding educator who is committed to the academic success of ALL students. She is respected by her students and her colleagues. I believe that Mrs. House is going to make an excellent administrator and I am looking forward to working with her.”
