Dresden, Tenn.-A 17-year-old student at Dresden High School was arrested this morning after making threats.
Weakley County Sheriff’s Captain Randall McGowan said deputies and members of the county juvenile office were called to Dresden High School at 10 a.m. this morning on the report of a student making threats of harming teachers and harming the school itself.
McGowan said the student posted the threats on social media and other students heard him make the threats.
After being interviewed by deputies, he was arrested and charged with making a false report. The student was removed from the school by deputies.
A Gibson High School student was arrested for making threats on Thursday.
