Huntingdon, Tenn.—Long-time Carroll County Mayor Kenny McBride will have competition in the upcoming primary.
Both McBride and T. Richard Goodwin have indicated they are running as Independents. Three others have picked up petitions to run in the May 1 Republican primary: Joseph G. Butler, Sean D. Norman and Timothy Wayne Pratt.
In addition to McBride, other Carroll County Officials are running as Independents: Property Assessor Rita Jones, Sheriff Andy Dickson, Trustee Paula Bolen, County Clerk Darlene Kirk, Road Supervisor Scotty Bailey, and Road Supervisor Ricky Scott.
