Paris, Tenn.—The Royalty Court for this Saturday’s Mardi Gras Ball in Paris has been announced.
Three couples will vie for the title of King and Queen of the Ball, which will be held beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Paris Convention Center. The Ball is an annual fundraiser for the Paris-Henry County Heritage Center.
Members of the court this year are: Jill and Cash Caldwell, AKA the Duke and Duchess of Elkhorn; Lisa and Chris Casteel, AKA the Duke and Duchess of Nalonna; and Ellen and John Adams, AKA the Duke and Duchess of Snow Lane.
People attending the Ball cast their ballots—in the form of dollars—for their favorite couple.
The Caldwell’s own and operate Cash’s Wood Fired Pizza mobile catering. She is the general manager of the Paris Country Club and he is a member of the Chamber board and of Paris Rotary. They were married on the front porch at the Heritage Center.
The Casteel’s have lived in Paris for 13 years; both hail from west Tennessee. She is the CEO of the Henry County Medical Center and he is a project engineer and owns Earth Science Engineering in Clarksville and JMC Firearms in Paris.
The Adams’ live in Paris and is is now with First Bank Mortgage, covering Paris, Camden and Waverly. He received his MBA from Union University. She has a master of science in genetic counseling from the University of South Carolina Medical School and worked in the medical field until she earned her juris doctorate from the University of Tennessee. She has joined the law firm with her father, Bill Neese of Paris.
Dinner begins at 6 p.m., with music at 7 p.m. Once again, the music will be provided by the popular Magi of Memphis.
Tickets are $40 per person and are available at the Heritage Center, Lura Lee’s Gift Shoppe of Paris and Cadillac Jack’s in Paris.
