Paris, Tenn.—A Paris man was arrested on drug charges after he was found passed out in his car at Ogburn Park.

Christopher Shane Crosser, age 23 of 622 Powell St., was charged with possession of 17.11 grams of meth, several hydrocodone and clonazepam pills, possession of drug paraphernalia which included two used meth pipes, sandwich bags containing the drugs and a set of digital scales.

Paris Patrolman Eric Long was patrolling Ogburn Park and found a car parked near the restrooms. He found Crosser passed out in the driver’s seat and asked Crosser for permission to search the vehicle, which Crosser denied.

Henry County Sheriff’s Deputy Ricky Wade and his K9 Nitro came to the scene and Nitro alerted to the door. The search was conducted and the drugs and paraphernalia were found in a whiskey bag inside the car.

Crosser’s vehicle was seized, along with $532 in cash.
