Puryear, Tenn.–Happy 117th, Puryear! Troop 226 served as the flag bearers to start the annual Puryear Day parade Saturday, with kids, candy, office holders, office seekers, firefighters, old cars, funny cars and much more bringing up the rear. The Puryear Day festivities were full of fun, with a tug-of-war, live music, good food, mechanical bull, lots of vendors, longest beard contest.
