Paris, Tenn.–The City of Paris and the Paris-Henry County Industrial Committee have partnered to contract the services of NaviRetail to assist them in attracting more retail businesses to Paris and Henry County.
NaviRetail was founded to properly educate and equip communities who seek to expand their retail base and is based in Memphis.
“The retail recruitment industry is changing at a very fast pace,” said Casey Kidd, President and Founder of NaviRetail. “Processing accurate data is paramount.”
NaviRetail specializes in data-driven recruitment and even pioneered a program that utilizes mobile phone data.
“While we have had some success attracting retail to our community, we believe NaviRetail’s experience in the retail industry will greatly improve our efforts to attract more retail investment to our community,” said David Hamilton, CEO of the Paris Henry County Industrial Committee.
“The City and the PHCIC have entered into a one-year deal with NaviRetail, with an option to extend the contract,” said Kim Foster, Paris City Manager. “Working with NaviRetail, we will identify and collect data on the available retail sites and buildings, identify potential retailers, develop community data and NaviRetail will attend retail trade shows on our behalf.”
NaviRetail has client cities throughout the country. The company offers its communities retail analytics, psychographic analysis, retail gap analysis, premium branding, online presence support and helps bolster local efforts with representation and education.
On January 8th, several local developers and landowners met with representatives from NaviRetail to discuss the Paris market—its challenges and benefits. These developers/landowners were provided information on the process NaviRetail undergoes to identify potential retailers, demographics collected on the community and how they can help attract new retail investment to Paris and Henry County.
“I am very pleased to see the City and PHCIC proactively working to attract retail to our community and assisting developers and landowners in promoting their sites,” stated Randall Bowden, owner of Landmark Realty.
