Paris, Tenn.–Due to staffing shortages, the Paris-Henry County Heritage Center is closed temporarily.
Director Meagan Huerta announced recently she would be resigning and her last day is Friday. In a Facebook post, Huerta announced, “It has been an absolute pleasure to take care of this house for the past year but I will be soon attending a Masters degree program in Historic Preservation. I am grateful for everything I learned and the lovely people I’ve met along the way.”
In the meantime, the Heritage Center board members have announced the Heritage Center will be closed temporarily and will be available only by appointment and private event bookings for the time being.
The board is actively recruiting for a new director and is looking for unique ways in staffing moving forward. The board is also looking for capable volunteers.
