Union City Middle School will begin its inaugural volleyball season Tuesday night with a road match at Bradford.
The Lady Tornadoes will be led into their first campaign by head coach Abby Suiter, an alumnus of UCHS who was the first player from the program to sign a college scholarship. Lauren Hall will serve as an assistant coach.
Eight 8th graders highlight a roster of 20 players for Union City.
The Twister girls will play a total of 12 matches, with six of those at home. The first of those home matches will be next Thursday, against Martin.
Jayvee matches will begin at 5 p.m., with the varsity action to follow.
All UCMS home matches will be played at Dan Boykin Gymnasium on the Union City Middle School campus.
