Paris, Tenn.–The swearing-in for incoming Judge Chad Cox will still be held at 2 p.. Sunday on the steps of the Henry County Courthouse. Cox said the snow and ice have been removed from the courthouse grounds.
“It’s gonna be cold”, he said, but invited everyone to the ceremony, which will be followed by a coffee and cake reception at the Paris 5&10, right across the street from the north side of the courthouse.
Cox will be sworn in as General Sessions/Juvenile Court Judge, replacing Judge Vicki Snyder, whose last day is today.
