Hardin County, Tenn.–Are you ready for some happy news? Firefighters with the Hardin County Fire Department pulled this sweet cat from a house fire Wednesday evening. The cat appeared lifeless but after a little mouth to mouth and oxygen it started to come around and made a full recovery. Meanwhile, the department’s firefighters have been busy: On a normal day they respond to about 3 or 4 calls, but in the past 4 days the firefighters have answered nearly 400 calls for service in Hardin County, including 5 house fires. They have made hundreds of welfare checks , cleared more trees then we can count , delivered many oxygen tanks , set up multiple shelters and transported nearly 50 people to the shelter as well as several to the hospital.
