Paris, Tenn. –Zaxby’s is coming to Paris!
That was the announcement made at tonight’s meeting of the Paris Municipal Regional Planning Commission.
Mayor Kathy Ray said, “That’s wonderful news and I’d like to make the motion we approve the site plan.”
The Zaxby’s restaurant will be located next to Starbucks on Mineral Wells Ave. The site plan was prepared by Carter Engineering of Georgia and according to Community Development Director Jessica Crouch, the restaurant will be built “with a new, modern farmhouse style.”
Crouch said it will be a sit-down restaurant that will seat 56 and also feature a two-lane drive-thru. It will be approximately 3,200 square feet.
The property is zoned P-B (Planned Business) and meets all applicable zoning and development requirements.
Improvements made to the site will include paving requirements and storm water management. The site plan was unanimously approved continent upon adherence to the signing of paving agreement and TDOT permits.
Crouch said the construction most probably will begin in the spring. City Manager Kim Foster said, “I can’t think they’re going to waste any time getting it built.”
According to Zaxby’s website, the franchise has rolled out a popular “Modern Farmhouse” design for new and remodeled restaurants, featuring rustic elements like red-washed wood, galvanized roofs, communal tables, and visible kitchens, creating a contemporary yet cozy Southern vibe with modern features like double drive-thrus and digital menus for faster service.
Their menu features a wide variety chicken dishes and sauces, wings, egg rolls, sandwiches, Zalads, and a variety of drinks and shakes.
