Two Arrested On Drug, Gun Charges
Paris, Tenn.—Two people were arrested on a variety of drug and gun chares by the Metro Crime Unit Wednesday.
Officers with the Metro Crime Unit including Paris Investigator Sgt. Jeramye Whitaker and Sheriff’s Deputy Sgt. Jamie Myrick stopped a car for a window tint violation as it pulled into apartments on Lankford Road.
In a search of the vehicle, officers found a loaded .38 caliber handgun, 5.2 grams of meth ice, a bag of marijuana and digital scales.
Arrested was Rodriguez Arnold, age 26, who lists addresses on Harrison Lane and Salem Circle in Paris, and Shirley Neblett, age 39, of Eva.
Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell; simple possession; possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia; and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
