Special Meeting To Seek Resignation Of Martin Mayor

Martin, Tenn.–A special meeting has been called by the City of Martin Board of Mayor and Aldermen for Tuesday, November 25 that will include a motion requesting the resignation of Mayor Randy Brundige. Aldermen are also expected to discuss the continued employment of Economic and Community Development Director Brad Thompson.
The meeting will be held at 5:15 p.m. at the City Courtroom.
Findings from the Tennessee Comptroller’s Office led to the indictment of Brundige, Thompson, and former city employee Natalie Brundige, the daughter of the mayor. They are charged with misuse of over $450,000.
Meanwhile, the three are set for arraignment in Weakley County Circuit Court Monday morning, November 24.
