Paris, Tenn.—The Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction has now raised $53,219, with the $4,302 raised today by the Oakland community, Junior Livestock, W.G. Rhea Library, Lee School Association and Latter Day Saints.
Each year, thousands of dollars are raised by volunteers for a long list of non-profit organizations in the county. Last year, over $350,000 was raised by Helping Hand.
Friday’s items will be donated by the Clifty community and Clifty Village, Rescue Squad, Dialysis Clinic, and Relay for Life.
Saturday’s items are donated by the Whitlock community and Whitlock Fire Department.
The Helping Hand Radio Auction is broadcast daily on WTPR AM 710 beginning at 12:30 p.m., and on Saturdays at noon. Auction phone is 644 1695.
