Paris, Tenn.–The VITA Free Tax Service will hold a Meet & Greet this week for people interesting in volunteering this tax season.
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program has been providing free tax preparation services for the public in Paris for several years.
The Meet & Greet will be held Thursday, October 16, from 1-3 p.m. at the AP Rec Center at 301 S. Highland St.
You can meet tax volunteers from last season and they can tell you their experiences. VITA provides computer training, tax preparation training, equipment and more.
