Carroll County Fire, Rescue Departments Awarded $380,000

Martin, Tenn.–Volunteer fire departments and rescue squads in Carroll County received over $380,000 in state grants
at the Tennessee Fire Marshal Conference in Martin last week.
Carroll County Mayor Joseph Butler said, “Honored to join Commissioner Carter Lawrence and Assistant Commissioner Mike Bell, as well as Senator John Stevens and Representative Tandy Darby, and Carroll County Fire Dept. and Rescue Squad leadership to recognize recent Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad grants received. In total, various departments within Carroll County received over $380,000.”
Butler said the county is excited about the direction of our Fire Department and Rescue Squad, and thank our state leadership and the Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance for these critical investments towards this.
