A Milan man was found with close to a pound of meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia and was charged with DUI after a chase and wreck near Wingo in Graves County.
On August 12, 2025, at approximately 2:35 AM, Sgt. Garret Clark was patrolling in the Wingo city limits. He observed two vehicles parked behind a closed business. As Sgt. Clark attempted to make contact with the occupants of the vehicles, the operator of one of the vehicles, a black Ford Explorer, pulled out of the parking lot at a high speed. A vehicle pursuit ensued, lasting about 10 minutes before the operator of the vehicle ran off of the roadway on Wingo Road, between Pea Ridge Road and KY 129. The operator failed to negotiate a curve, running through a fence-line and into a field.
The vehicle was located in the field but the operator fled on foot. He was eventually located and arrested without incident a few minutes later. The operator was identified as Chad Bradley, 48 of Milan, TN. Bradley had multiple outstanding warrants, including a Parole Violation warrant and he was found to be in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and just less than a pound of methamphetamine.
Bradley was arrested and released to Graves County Jail Staff. His charges included Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree – Methamphetamine 1st Offense, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree in a Motor Vehicle, Criminal Mischief 1st Degree, DUI 1st Offense, Parole Violation, Probation Violation and Failure to Appear as well as other traffic and drug related offenses.
Sgt. Clark was assisted by Deputy Austin Caldwell, Deputy Austin Ramage and Deputy Zac Smith. The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Wingo Fire Department, Mayfield/Graves County EMS and the Kentucky State Police Dispatch at Post 1 for assisting as well.
