Paris, Tenn.–Paris Police Chief Chuck Elizondo has issued a plea to the public this morning, entreating everyone to stay home and off the streets.
“We received 3 to 4 more inches of snow last night. The roads are extremely slick and hazardous. Please stay home. Road crews will be working diligently to clear the streets. Because ot the low temperatures salt and brine will have little or no affect. Do not attempt travel. We are seeing motorist getting stuck on snow piles that accumulate at entrances and driveways caused by snow plows.”
