Pickleball Palooza Set Saturday At Eiffel Tower Park

eiffel-t-w-flag-may-9

The Bethel Physicians Assistants organization is holding a Pickleball Palooza at Eiffel Tower Park Saturday. Sign-in at 7:30 a.m., with start time at 8 a.m.

All proceeds will be donated directly to NBIA Disorders Association. NBIA stands for Neurodegeneration with Brain Iron Accumulation. It is a very rare disorder that affects the part of the brain associated with regulating muscle movement. NBIA Disorders Association supports families dealing with these disorders and works with researchers to learn more and discover treatments and cures. 13 years ago, Bethel PA Program members began fundraising for NBIA in honor of Cole Tanner. His mother, Johanna Tanner, made a huge impact through her work and effort in guiding the program toward success as the director. In 2009, Johnna opened our current facility for students to learn the PA profession and become exceptionally great providers. In gratitude for her dedication, the faculty, staff, and students decided to host an annual event supporting the organization searching for a cure for her son’s neurodegenerative disorder.

Pickleball is particularly popular with the Paris population. This is a fantastic opportunity for your business’s name to be seen by so many people! Luckily, there are multiple ways you can donate for levels of advertisement visibility based on your donation amount/equivalent:

  • $50 – Sponsor a Tent
  • $100 – Sponsor a Court

We currently have 6 court sponsors (Security Bank, Dynamix, Cowan Home Solutions, WTPR, B&G Equipment, Global Seas Accounting Office) and 2 tent sponsors (Jack’s Java and Nonni’s Pizza).

We will give medals for the top teams in each category: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.
