Lake County, Tenn.–A U.S. Marshal’s Service investigator has filed paperwork stating that Austin Drummond may have fled the state. Drummond is wanted in the quadruple homicide that occured in Lake County and abandonment of a baby in Dyer County last week. The people murdered include the baby’s parents, grandmother and uncle.

Deputy Marshal Darrel Weldon filed the paperwork in federal court, stating that law enforcement has learned that Drummond has possibly fled the state and crossed stateline boundaries.

The documents cite information gathered by the Marshals Service, the TBI and other law enforcement agencies that have been working on the case.

The reward for information leading to Drummond’s arrest is now at $15,000: The Marshals Service is offering up to $10,000 and the TBI already was offering $7,500.

In the meantime, two Jackson men have been charged with accessory after the fact for allegedly helping Drummond. Both are in custody at separate jails.

Drummond currently has active warrants for first-degree murder, weapon possession, aggravated kidnapping, and use of a firearm to commit a dangerous felony.
Anyone with information concerning his whereabouts is asked to call 731-415-7962, 731-333-0811, or 1-800-TBI-FIND.
