Paris, Tenn.–For only the second time in its history, the Helping Hand Radio Auction will be cancelled today due to weather conditions.
Helping Hand Spokesperson Wendy Barnhart said early this morning volunteers are unable to get out of their driveways to make it to the Henry County Fairgrounds for today’s session.
Today’s items were to be donated by Security Bank and White and Associates and Barnhart said a decision will be made later this morning on how that will be rescheduled.
Snow has been falling steadily all night, dumping from 3-5 inches of new snow in Henry County. That’s on top of the 8-9 inches that the county has been coping with since the snowstorm on Friday.
